I have such a love-hate relationship with this product. I have this palette in PK-2 and the colors are LOVELY. They show up well on very dark skin (MAC NC45). The gold in this particular palette is so lush, luminous, with the right ratio of cream-to-powder. The brown is perfect. It's sheer enough to be fool-proof but pigmented enough to build up. It's actually what ignited my small addiction for Japanese brown-shadows. The rose color is nice and comes on decently but isn't as appealing as the gold. The base is just confusing. It has a dry, waxy, oily feel to it. I personally think it makes the shadows harder to blend together in contrast to applying them without the base. It also tends to make the colors less flattering against the skin. My gripe with this palette is the longevity of the shadows. My eye lids are very oily but take well to most, if not all, primers and bases. I've never had issues with longevity and creasing even when using my cheapest primers. From my most expensive to the cheapest of my primers these shadows creased and faded before the 6 hour mark. Even if I applied them with the way the palette had in mind it did nothing to change the longevity. The ONLY thing that seemed to work using an Etude House Play 101 pencil in a similar color as a base. Only then did I notice my shadows could make it to the 6 hour mark. However, it seems like this formula encourages even the longest-lasting of bases to crease up quickly. TL;DR Gorgeous colors. Questionable wear-time.
