Vitamin C is a tricky one for a lot of people, and there's a lot of stuff going around about whether it's effective if you don't have your skin at the right pH when you use it, but this essence hasn't steered my wrong so far. I usually use 2-3 drops after my toning lotion (right now I'm using good old Gokujun from Hada Labo). The first time, it burned/stung a little, but now my skin is used to is. I also has a teeny bit of purging up near my temples for the first week, but my skin has been happy and smooth since then. I've also faded a couple of acne scars/PIH marks, which I think is mostly do to this essence. I wasn't doing anything else to them, and over the last month or so, they've become much less apparent. Thumbs up!
