I was intrigued by the fresh, moisturized look, so I skipped the really light shade and got the ochre shade. I didn't have any problems when I applied my makeup in the morning, but when I went to touch up my makeup, it looked way too dark, so I bought the light ochre one later. This shade is perfect. (I usually use Cle de Peau Ochre 10) Ochre works well as a contour shade, which gives you a really subtle carved look. At first, I put it on over the unpigmented Cle de Peau watery makeup base, and it barely had any pigmentation and no coverage. But when I tried it over the old version of Cle de Peau's fresh primer in a tube, it started to look like real makeup, with a nice inner glow and highlight. On top of Cle de Peau's brightening makeup base, it really starts to feel like a complete makeup look. It's very smooth and spreadable, and it doesn't smudge easily. The finish is beautiful, and it doesn't break down noticeably, plus it feels light and comfortable. Out of the foundation's I've used so far, I quite like it. It runs out quickly, but I think it means you can give it a good try before you decide to change to something else.
