I went to Takashimaya with my BF, and was instantly drawn to this fragrance booth and was standing in front of the fragrance Bond No.9’s the Scent of Peace before I knew it. When I tried the tester, I almost bought it, but seeing the price, I held back. I can understand that the scent entices men; it has a floral scent of an attractive lady. I could see my BF’s face get all manly and seductive the minute he took a snuff at it. But he too, withdrew from the big price; 20000yen for 50ml. It does smell wonderful, but I wouldn’t pay for it. So, we came to conclusion that Lanvin’s Eclat d’Arpege was enough. Its scent is very similar to the Scent of Peace, though it doesn’t last as long. In any case, both of the fragrances come in big bottles, so I’d like them to make the bottles simple and handy, thereby lowering the maker’s costs. It is important that the fragrance is well accepted by many, but what is essential is that both you and your partner love the smell. After all, preference over fragrance can be quite different between people and difficult to find a match.
The new symbol of Lanvin, continuing the name of the Arpège line. Maintaining the traditional bottle design, the fragrance represents a modern woman. Elegant yet modern and refined, it is a gentle, soft, comfortable and transparent fragrance.
